Escape from the Matrix
One of the choices I made in life was to stay away from movies with a lot of obscenity. So, when my children recommended "The Matrix" to me, I held off for a long time. When I finally broke down, I was amazed to say the least. Some how, the writer had managed to tap into a truth - that most of us are not who we were meant to be.
I firmly believe that Satan works like crazy to keep us from ever discovering who we were created to be. He knows he can't defeat God, but he can break God's heart. So, before you were born, maybe even before your parents were born, there was a plan against you. It starts with expectations, or in my case, the lack of expectations. It could come in the form of sickness or oppressive parenting or being raised in a culture which encourages people to be less than their best.
So, I'm here to offer you that proverbial red or blue pill. Are you willing to take the dare? Are you willing to explore your possibilities? What if every parent and every pastor and every school teacher started the day out with the goal of showing every child that God has a great plan for them. If you never heard it before, I want to tell you now, "God has a great plan for you and it will take all there is of you to do all He's planned for you to do."
So, where do you start? How do you know if you are plugged into the Matrix - just doing what you've been taught to do, thinking what you've been taught to think and being who you've been taught to be?
Well, that's why I'm here. Will you join with me on this amazing journey to freedom?s
